Description
Saint Patrick Parish invites everyone to Summerfest in Sparta on Saturday August 11th and
Sunday August 12th.
The action starts Saturday morning, August 11th, at 8:30am, with an Outdoor Arts and Crafts
Show, with up to 40 vendors offering their wares.
Then at 9am, award winning auctioneer, Christopher Sund, will rap the gavel and hundreds of items will go up for bid.
Also, at 9am your senses will lead you to coffee, burgers, brats, sweet corn-on-the-cob, and more.
Through the day you will find: Free family games for the kids, including Mini Golf and a Mini Train ride, a Country Store & Bake Sale, an indoor Arts & Crafts Sale; and many raffles, including Gift Baskets, 50/50, Wine Baskets, and a Silent Auction. In addition, buy your Summerfest raffle ticket for just $2.00 (3 for $5) for a chance to win these great prizes: 1st $2000 / 2nd $1000 / 3rd $500 / 4-9th $100 / 10th-15th $50 -- With the drawing on Saturday at 8pm.
Saturday also features the Famous Baked Chicken Dinner (served inside) from 4-7pm, for just
$8.50, Seniors $7.50, Children $4.50. Offering takeout & delivery service by calling 608-633-7005
(starting at 3pm).
Catholic Mass will be celebrated in the Church at 4:30pm.
Enjoy refreshments and food throughout the afternoon and evening. Then dance and enjoy the
music of the Red Crow Band from 6-10pm, featuring Classic Rock from the 60's, 70's, & 80's.
Sunday Aug 12 starts with Catholic Mass in the Church at 8:15am and 10:30am.
Then New this year is a Fiesta Latina theme on Sunday, including authentic Mexican food and
refreshments from 11am-5pm and the great Mariachi Estrella band from Noon to 3pm.
Also, the fun continues Sunday with the free family games for kids, the indoor Arts & Crafts
Sale, 50/50 Raffles, a Basket Raffle, and more.
Closing with a Spanish Catholic Mass in the Church at 6pm.
