"Farmer Goes To War" shows audiences what being a Union soldier from Monroe County was like\, from the drudgery of drill to the horrors of battle.  Through this hands-on program\, Monroe County Historian\, Jarrod Roll\, will teach audiences about the Union soldier's uniforms & gear\, weaponry & warfare\, camp life & diet\, death\, disease\, sacrifice\, and much more.
