DESCRIPTION:Our Cura Salon team is working together this fall to support and bring awareness for Cancer Awareness. Many are affected by this diagnosis\, including some of our dear clients. \n\nOn Friday October 23rd\, from 4pm to close\, we will be hosting a "CUT-A-THON". Those who wish to donate their hair will receive a free haircut and style in addition to donating the hair to a worthy cause. Cura Salon and Spa will combine money raised with a cash donation to SACS.\n\nSeptember includes Childhood Cancer Awareness\, Gynecologic Cancer Awareness\, Hodgkin's Lymphoma Awareness\, Lymphoma Awareness\, Ovarian Cancer Awareness\, Thyroid Cancer Awareness\, and Prostate Cancer Awareness. October then brings Breast Cancer Awareness and Liver Cancer Awareness. \n\n Sparta\, Wisconsin is so fortunate to have such an active and supportive group as the Sparta Area Cancer Support that has helped hundreds of families with cancer. We are proud of their efforts and hope to make this an annual event at Cura Salon and Spa. \n\nGuests that have ten inches or more of hair to donate can call Cura Salon to reserve their appointment. The hair will then be sent to Wigs For Kids.
