DESCRIPTION:The American Legion will be hosting a candidate forum July 29th\, 2014 starting at 6:00pm. The event is at 1116 Angelo road and will include introductions and questions from a moderator. Chris Hardie from River Valley Newspapers has agreed to be the moderator. If time permits\, audience questions will be asked. Audience questions must be written and presented to the moderator for questioning.  The moderator will only ask questions that are relevant to the forum.\n\nCandidates for Monroe County sheriff are Scot Perkins and Wes Revels and have agreed to attend a candidate forum at the Sparta American Legion. The event is free and open to the public.
