To do this\, I am asking for your participation by building a Scarecrow that can be displayed on our walking path\, just past our front door. The residents will also be designing their own scarecrow to put on this path.\n\n\n\nI am asking you to be as creative as you can get. Scarecrows should be in place by Tuesday\, September 24\, 2013 if you plan on participating. Please be aware of props needed to have your scarecrow sit or stand when setting them up\, as well as a sign to represent the group or person entering the scarecrow. On September 26th\, the residents will have an autumn festival and judge each of the creations. A traveling trophy will be awarded to the best scarecrow. Scarecrows then can be picked up by October 11th.
