Description

Players love the family feel of this tournament. Don and Donna Justin open their doors and welcome us with great food and beverages served onsite, camping $15/night including showers, made from scratch breakfasts served in the Lodge. There is a small fee for these services but the overall offerings are well worth the cost. There is no additional charge to the players for use of the Players Barn or course fees during the event. Great sponsorship, players packages and the best all in one location for a disc golf tournament - Justin Trails Open! 
 
         The Justin Trails Open is coming to Justin Trails Bed and Breakfast near Sparta September 24, 2016. Hosted by Don and Donna Justin, directed by Josh Hamm, this will be the 16th and last qualifying stop on the Wisconsin Disc Golf Tour this year.
             Open Pro Chris Heeren (Janesville, Wi.) and Pro Woman Barrett White (Forest Park, Il.) will be striving to repeat as state champion in divisions loaded with talent. Barrett is a two time World Champion and has 207 career wins.
             Brad Wendt, the Wisconsin Disc Golf Tour Coordinator said: "This year competitors will have a record 16 tournaments to earn points needed to be crowned champions. Last year we had over 850 players and this year we expect over a thousand."
            The Classic and Big Brother 18 hole Disc Golf Courses offer players a variety of open and wooded shots along with thick off fairway hazards. Big altitude changes especially on Big Brother adds difficult uphill and downhill throws with interesting winds and incredible views from the upper parts of the course. This is a true shot section golf course that demands the entire throwing skill set to navigate. The Classic Course is where players hope to attack for birdies.
            This event is open to spectators, who may enjoy watching some of the best disc golfers in the state for free. Disc golf equipment can be purchased at Tournament Central near the beautiful events barn..
             Play will be from 9:30am until 4:00pm on Saturday with a lunch break at mid-day.

Justin Trails Resort is located only 5 minutes South of Sparta and 30 minutes West of La Crosse. You can experience both the Classic and Big Brother disc golf courses from spring to fall for only $5.00 per day.
