In this role, Greg is responsible for the deployment of Medtronic Operating System (MOS) across the company. He joined Medtronic in 2003 as a Master Black Belt when the Operational Excellence team was formed, and was an author of Lean Sigma methods for Medtronic and the Medtronic Operating System. Greg has a passion to unleash the talent and energy of Medtronic to fulfill their mission and contribute to the transformation of healthcare. He believes that a steadfast focus on process improvement combined with a transformation of business systems, all guided by operating principles, can create the environment to make this achievable. For nearly 15 years prior to joining Medtronic, Greg held positions of increasing responsibility at Cummins Inc., in Finance, Operations, Logistics and IT, while learning and deploying Lean Sigma techniques through Cummins Production System. He was selected in the first group of Cummins Six Sigma Black Belts, and was then certified in their first group of Master Black Belts.
