Description
On Sunday, October 11th, the Sparta American Legion will host a Chicken Q Fundraiser starting at 11 a.m. The event is open to the public and will be held at the Sparta American Legion hall located at 1116 Angelo Road (Hwy 21). Chicken Q meal includes half-chicken, baked beans, coleslaw, and roll for only $9 per plate. Proceeds raised will support our American Legion baseball teams. Advanced Chicken-Q tickets can be purchased from American Legion Baseball Players and Coaches.
In addition to the Chicken Q, the Sparta Post #100 Commander will lead a motorcycle ride to enjoy the fall color. Cost is $20 per rider ($15 per passenger) and includes the dinner. Registration begins at 9:00am and kickstands up at 10:00am for a tour through some amazing scenery.
The American Legion is open to the public daily at 11am. Stop in to purchase your tickets for this event. Bring the whole family for dinner and help support a great cause!
The Legion also has tickets available for a 20 gun give-away. Each ticket has the chance to win on every draw. Tickets are $20 each, and the drawing will be held on November 7th at The American Legion.
