Friends of Scouting Luncheon with Fr. Jim Leary

Fr. Jim Leary Returns for Scouting Luncheon - Fr. Jim Leary will be the featured speaker at the Sparta Friends of Scouting complimentary luncheon at Jakes Northwoods on Wednesday, February 27th, beginning at noon. Reservations are required. Fr. Jim served St. Patrick’s from 1999 to 2010 and provided a spiritual and pastoral ministry to 1,200 families. He was also instrumental in the fundraising and construction of the new St. Patrick’s Education and Activity Center. He now is the Pastor of St. Joseph and St. Mary Parishes in Appleton, WI.

Funds raised at the luncheon, as well before and after, will go toward supporting Camp Decorah, training local volunteers, supporting operating costs and camperships, among many other important costs. Scouting has remained constant and true to its mission of serving youth and helping them learn to make better decisions throughout their lives.
