Description
Justin Trails Resort in conjunction with Evergreen Disc Sports will be holding the seventh annual Professional Disc Golf Association’s “B” Tier/Wisconsin Tour Tournament on Saturday, September 15 & 16, 2012. Professional and Advanced players will play two rounds on Saturday and one round on Sunday. Recreational, Intermediate and Junior players will play two rounds on Saturday with their award ceremony on Saturday evening. Pre-registration is required by 7:00 p.m. Friday. Sign-in on Saturday will be from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. A mandatory players meeting is at 9:00 a.m. The shot gun start is set for 10:00 a.m. with a break for lunch and a second round to follow lunch. Tournament play will be limited to 144 players. Award ceremony for the Professional and Advanced Division will follow the third round on Sunday. The public is welcome to spectate. Jim Van Lane, Manitowoc, is tournament director assisted by Brad Wendt, Wisconsin Tour Coordinator and Donna Justin, Justin Trails Resort.
The tournament divisions and registration fee are: Pro Men $70, Pro Master and Grand Master Men $60; Pro Women $55, Advanced Men, and Advanced Master Men $55 and Grand Master $45, Advanced Women $45, Intermediate and Recreational Men $45, Intermediate and Recreational Women $45, Junior Boys $15, and Junior Girls $30. All players must be a PDGA member in good standing or pay $10 for playing in a PDGA event. Pros will compete for a purse and amateurs will compete for funny money redeemable on disc golf merchandise such as discs, golf bags, and shirts.
