Sparta Full Moon Bicycle Rides

Description

Enjoy the biking season with a guided ride on the Elroy-Sparta Trail. Meet at the Chamber Depot, 111 Milwaukee Street, where we’ll depart at 7:30 PM.  Be sure to bring your bike light and bike helmet. We’ll head west to the intersection at Icebox Road where we’ll meet up with the area astronomy club. They’ll have telescopes available for viewing the moon and the night sky, and club members will share their insights.  We’ll also enjoy some refreshments before heading back to the Depot. Call the Chamber Office (269-4123) during regular business hours to let us know you plan to join the fun. Individuals under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Thanks to the Deke Slayton Space and Bike Museum and the Astronomy Club for sponsoring this ride.
