Celebrate Winter passinga nd Spring arriving at Norskedalen on Saturday March 10 from 9 to 4. Bring family and friends and watch the steam rise and maple syrup appear before your eyes! Go for a ride on a horse drawn wagon to tap trees and gather sap. Watch the Vermont Evaporator boiling maple syrup all day long. Come and see how this delicious candy is made from a tree! This is an event for the whole family including a piping hot breakfast of organic pancakes, sausage, apple sauce, hot drinks and fresh maple syrup (serving 9-1). After breakfast spend the rest of your visit going for a nature walk or watching, learning, and participating in demonstrations and classes hosted by The Driftless Folk School. Take part in presentations on folk medicine, children's nature crafts, edibles spring plants and much more. Enjoy demonstrations of weaving, spinning, blacksmithing and other activities. There will be live music and children's games including sledding, making maple syrup snow cones, ect
