Description
Join the community in honoring our Veterans at the Courthouse starting at 10:30 for a small ceremony. The Commanders of the American Legion and VFW will share a few words and the winner of the Voice of Democracy contest will read their entry.
The American Legion- Sparta, American Legion- Norwalk, and the VFW- Sparta will post the colors.
After the courthouse ceremony the VFW will provide a free lunch to Veteran's of nursing homes.
Sparta American Legion will conduct a flag disposal ceremony at Post #100 at noon. Following the ceremony, lunch will be available to the public, and free to Veterans.
