Duties

  • Prepare clear and concise correspondence. Prepare and present financial reports and briefings. Track funds.
  • Administer internal control procedures and monitor for compliance. Safeguard cash and assets.
  • Plan, monitor and execute operating budgets. Manage Capital Purchase / Minor Construction (CPMC) budget. Track funds.
  • Billing Official for GPC Card Holders. Prepare and process GPC and SNACS purchase requests.
  • Assist in the development and management of IMWRF fiscal policies and procedures. Assist with processing Unit Funds.
  • Provide customer service in a prompt and professional manner. Render assistance to directorate leaders. Attend meetings.
  • Ensure accuracy of accounting documents, subsidiary ledgers for accounts receivable, accounts payable and aging accounts. Liaison with NFS and ID-R. Performs a wide range of financial analysis.
  • Perform analytical tasks. Provide data for ACCRO and ISR. Participate in Strategic Planning. Prepare travel orders. Review DTS vouchers.
  • Responsible for administrative functions related to the daily processing of funds and fiscal controls. Use automation software for financial management as FMBS, CardPointe, Clientline and RECTRAC.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Conditions of Employment

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements to include a credit check for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
  • Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors for special events.
  • Driver?s license will be required if operating government vehicles
  • Business operations are Monday-Friday, but is subject to change and will be based on the needs of the activity. Nights, weekends and holidays are required during MWR events.

Qualifications

Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume.
  • Knowledge of basic principles and practices of budget formulations in order to prepare written funding justifications, consolidate budget requests, request additional funds, and monitor expenditures against obligations for specified programs.
  • Skill in balancing funds between accounts; i.e., transferring funds between line items or sub-projects or identifying excess funds for possible transfer to other operating programs.
  • Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with all levels of the organization/serviced organizational elements.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
Highly Preferred Criteria: All answers to the Highly Preferred Criteria must be visible in your resume to get credit
  • Experience with NAF Budget, NAF Finance, Internal Controls, IMETS and FMBS. Ability to prepare reports and compile data in Excel spreadsheets.
  • Experience with Government Purchase Card.
