Description
Scholarship Opportunity for all Sparta High School Age Students
The American Legion Oratorical Contest is a National event for High School Age Students that are enrolled in school (to include non-traditional). The contest starts in the local community with the opportunity to win prizes as the winners move up through District, Regions and State Contests- ultimately competing in the National Contest.
The contest consists of a single main speech topic related to the United States Constitution with a length of 8 to 10 minutes, as well as an "Assigned Topic" that must consume 3 to 5 minutes of presenter's delivery.
