River Bank was formed in 1991 when three banks located along the Mississippi River in Stoddard, Ferryville, and De Soto were merged together. Today, River Bank has grown to be 14 branches and is the largest locally-owned community bank in La Crosse, serving Crawford, La Crosse, Monroe, Trempealeau and Vernon counties.
